Recommended Bike Rack for 4 Bikes on 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid
Question:
I am looking for a 4 bike hitch rack for my 2020 Honda CRV Hybrid. We have a 2 hitch. All our bikes are hybrid bikes no e-bikes. Difficult to decide which rack to purchase when there are so many good options. Thank you

There are two styles you can choose from for a 4 bike rack which are hanging and platform. Hanging bike racks are fairly simple so if you want to go this route I would choose the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. This is a well made rack at a decent price from a reputable brand. It has a capacity of 35 lbs per bike and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
If you would rather have a platform rack I recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HR1400Z. This uses ratcheting hooks to hold your bikes by the frame. It also comes with a keyed-alike hitch lock, frame hooks, and security cable. The rack has a capacity of 50 lbs per bike and can handle tires up to 3" wide. The tilt-away will also allow you to access the rear hatch on your CR-V as seen in the video below. Personally this is the rack I would choose based on the mounting style and additional features.
