Can 6.50-13 Tire Be Used As Spare For 175/80-13
Question:
My camper is double axle and the tires are 175/80-13s. Can I use a 6.50-13 tire as a spare? Thanks

Hi Peter; I would not use a 6.50-13 tire as a spare for your 175/80-13 tires. This is an obsolete tire size so if you found a 6.50-13 it is likely a very old tire that won't be reliable. It will also have a different outer diameter. You could get by on it for a very short distance in an emergency to get a replacement or repair if you had to absolutely had to use it. However, it would be best to just get a new tire that is the same size like the # AM3S030 you looked at so you don't have to worry about it.
