How To Prevent a Death Wobble On a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Sport

Question:

is there a wiring kit for a 2018 Wrangler JK sport to negate the death wobble? The one used for the cherokee I am told will not work.

For your 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Sport we have the Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer # RM84RR for stock tires up to 32" diameter. For Larger 33"-37" tires you would want the Stabilizer # RM39RR. This will will prevent the dreaded death wobble as there is not a wiring harness option I am aware of.

Thank you, it appears that I have a something similar to the RM84RR installed currently with the light wiring harness. But I do have a Rugged Ridge off road bumper with 3/4 holes for a tow bar hook up. If I purchase a Roadmaster Nighthawk do I need anything else to hook up to this bumper? Also I will need a breaking system and Think I would like a stay N Play unit which one do you recommend? And how difficult are the braking systems, to install? is it something that a decent backyard mechanic could do or do I have to have a pro do it? Thank you in advance for your assistance!

@AlL First be sure to verify with Rugged Ridge that their bumper is rated for flat towing. If so you will need to measure the width of your bumper mounts as we have the Adapter # RM-035 for a 3/4" wide mount or the 1" Adapter # RM-035-1 to fit larger mounts up to 1". These simply replace the ends on the Roadmaster Nighthawk # RM-676 to connect to the bumper. The Accessory Kit # RM-9284-2 will provide you with the electrical to integrate your tail lights to operate off your motorhome. It also contains lube and cover to protect the tow bar as well as locks to secure your Jeep. The Stay-IN-Play # DM86VR is my go to supplemental braking system for all motorhomes with hydraulic brakes. I have linked an installation video for this near the bottom of the page so you can see exactly how much is involved. You will also want to install a Charge Line # RM-156-25 to ensure the braking system does not drain your battery.
