Can Support Bar That Runs in Bracket Track on Lippert Manual Pull-Out Step Be Removed
Question:
I cant tell from any of the photos – can the step detach from the mounting bracket that holds the assembly to the trailer? I cant tell if there is a cotter pin holding the bar in place which would allow for easy detachment of step from mounting bracket or if there are washers or something welded to the end of the rod/crossbar. Talking about the rod/bar that rides in the slot to pull the steps out or put them away. Thanks.

Yes, that is a cotter pin and washer that can be removed. This would allow you to pull the bar out of that track and remove the # LC432682 steps from the bracket if need be.
