axle
Question:
I have an older equipment trailer with Hayes 6000lb axles. They appear to be mobile home axles and have weld on drum brakes with a half backing plate. Do you have a brake set I can replace these brakes and replace the hubs to the newer style rims. These axles take the centerless rims

The problem with mobile home axles is that they are intended for one time use and they don't have replacement parts made for them. So there aren't any options you have to get modern components on your trailer except for an all new axle or have new spindles welded to axle.
