Will A RoadActive Suspension Kit Help Reduce Sag On A 2005 Ford F-250 With A 6" Lift

Question:

Will this help with my ‘05 F250 w/a 6” lift, that’s typically loaded with tools and pulling a 24’ boat w/ a large motor sway and sag are my main issues? I haven’t seen any of these trucks mention being lifted.

Hey Thomas,

Yes, the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-HD would help with the loads you're hauling around in your 2005 F-250. This attaches to the leaf springs so it'll be compatible even though you have a 6" lift. The best part of this upgrade is that it requires no maintenance and won't affect your unloaded ride quality like other enhancements can.

This will help reduce sagging which will keep your F-250 closer to level which allows for better handling and braking power when towing or hauling heavy loads in the bed. Better handling can help reduce sway but might not fully correct it with the boat trailer. You may need to look into a weight distribution hitch to help reduce the swaying. If so, we'll need to know what the fully loaded tongue weight of the trailer is to pick the correct hitch.
