On tow bars like the Blue Ox Avail # BX7420 they can wear over time and require certain parts to be replaced. Blue Ox does offer some replacement parts for their tow bars but it is best to contact them directly or visit an RV dealer near you who can identify the parts that are going to need replaced and verify the correct replacement parts based on the model and when the bars were made since some of the components could have changed over time. If you are within the 3-year warranty on the bars you may be able to get the new parts covered under warranty as well.
