How to Separate Brake and Turn Signal for Tail Light Installation With Separate Functions

Question:

Hello, Im wiring up a car hauler trailer with 5 wire LED tail lights picture attached. These lights have sequential turn signals separate from brake and marker lights, and also reverse lights. The 7 pin connector has pins for RIGHT turn/STOP, LEFT turn/STOP, and Electric BRAKE. I believe the turn signal and brake are tied together. Can I use the Electric Brake pin to connect to the brakeinch lights so as to keep the brake lights and turn signals separate OR do I have to use a Tail Light Converter Thank you for your help in this matter

You will want to use a converter to separate out the signals and not use the electric brake output circuit. The Curt 2 to 3 Wire Tail Light Converter # C56196 will do exactly what you need.
