Recommended Base Plate Kit and Tow Bar Wiring for 2014 Honda CR-V
Question:
Afternoon! I have a blue ox alpha bx735 tow bar for my rv and would like a suggestion on a base plate and wiring setup for a 2014 Honda crv. Thank you in advance!

Since you already have a Blue Ox tow bar I would stick with the same for base plates. The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2258 is what you need for your 2014 CR-V. Then for wiring I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267.
You also need to check your owner's manual since fuses must be pulled during towing so you will want to add a fuse bypass. If it says to only pull the #19 ACC radio fuse you need the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass # RM76511. If it states to pull the #19 ACC radio fuse and the #20 ACC key lock fuse you need # RM76512.
I have attached some installation videos below for your reference.
