Are Critters an Issue With the Camco Aero-Flo RV Roof Vent Cover

Question:

This vent cover seems to have long, open slots as louvers - with no bug screens oven any openings. So, it seems to be an inviting home for all sorts of small critters to nest in…especially when parked for long periods of time and in wooded areas. Do any owners have issues with critter homesteading beneath the large cover? Are there any practical screening methods to better enclose the cover from all the small critters? Or does the inherent design of all these retro-fit covers floating base mount preclude keeping small critters out from the inner area?

Hi Charlie; I can confidently say critters are not an issue with the Camco Aero-Flo RV Roof Vent Cover # CAM40421. There hasn't been any complaints of critter activity within this vent cover, and there aren't any practical screening methods to better enclose the cover.

Like you mentioned, the inherent design of the # CAM40421 does preclude small critters from accessing and nesting in it.
