Does 2024 Toyota Sienna Have Towing Capacity for Trailer with Brakes
Question:
2024 Toyota Sienna woodlands edition I’m thinking of changing out the oem 1 1/4” receiver for a 2” to work with my light weight trailer. My trailer has electric brakes and I only have a four way connector. Is the woodland edition set up towing capability or is it just a sales tactic? I’m hesitant to use a blue tooth brake control, but I don’t want to void my warranty . What do you recommend? FYI, I have installed numerous hitches on various vehicles, trucks , cars , foreign and domestic.

Hey Les, the Draw Tite hitch part # DT55MR would be a solid 2 inch hitch option for your 2024 Toyota Sienna that would have plenty of towing capacity.
I looked up your towing capacity and it can tow up to 3,500 lbs.
To install a brake controller like the P3 part # 90195 (great choice by the way) all you'd need is the part # ETBC7 which comes with everything needed to convert to a 7-way and wire up the brake controller.
