Recommended Bike Rack for a 2020 Thor Magnitude SV34 Towing a Ford Ranger

Hello, we purchased a Thor Magnitude SV34 and we are flat-towing a Ford Ranger 4x4 with a Blue Ox. We were told we could flat tow home for the first time but needed to purchase a -down receiver to level the towing and not ruin the tires. I also want to add my bike rack but in the future would like to purchase two e-bikes. Two questions 1. What ped down receiver should I purchase to do the bikes and level the tow bar? 2. Would it be better to put the e-bikes in the back of the truck or can the receiver hitch carry the e-bikes? Thanks.

Tom, you'd need to measure the distance from your motorhome's hitch and your base plates and pick a high low adapter like # BLU53XR based off of that.

As far as where the bike rack should go, I'd recommend putting it on the back of your towed vehicle since you'll already have a lot going on at the back of your motorhome.

For a bike rack I recommend checking out the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY64FR. This bike rack can handle up to two bikes weighing up to 80 lbs per bike, for a total of 160 lbs, and can handle up to a 5" wide tire.
