should i have had my new trailer tires balanced before i installed them?

The short answer here is no. You can balance your # AM32182 if you want but it isn't something that is required. Since trailer tires are only responsible for supporting a load behind a tow vehicle and not providing a smooth ride for passengers it isn't important. Some people still choose to balance them but most do not.
