Can the Rhino Rack Batwing Awning Be Mounted to a Baja Racks Roof Basket

Hi, Im wanting to mount my Rhino Rack Batwing 270 awning to my steel tubular Baja Rack and wondering if you have any experience with this combination and can suggest what type of brackets to use. The Baja Rack I have is the basket style with floor mesh and two tubing bars on each side. Thank you

Hey Mike, so I haven't had any experience with Baja Racks, but from the bit of research I did It looks like you aren't going to be able to use the Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning # RR33200 with your roof basket.

The Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning part # RR33200 needs to be mounted to roof rack crossbars with an integrated channel or t-track, and the crossbars must extend out past the mounting feet in order it to work. So, what you'd need to do is mount the awning to the rack beside the cargo basket.
