Could Demco 21k Coupler Replace Dexter A-160 Surge Coupler
Question:
Hi I have a Dexter Surge brake unit on my trailer Model A160/AC200. Im looking to do Electric over Hydraulic conversion. Im looking to replace the Tounge Trailer coupler. but Im not seeing one with the same boult pattern. I like the Demco 21K if you can recommend one that would bolt up. Thanks Bill

Hey Bill, I checked out pictures of the mounting brackets of your Model A-160 actuator and the most similar straight coupler to it would be the Demco part # DM15931-95 that you were looking at. You should be able to get at least two of the bolts through it and your trailer tongue but worst case scenario you might need to drill additional holes.
