Troubleshooting Prodigy Brake Controller Install in 2011 Silverado 2500HD, No Blinkers/Stop Lights
Question:
My 2500HD has the ITBC. I installed an aftermarket brake controller after reading that the ITBC may not recognize the trailer because the electric brakes dont produce enough resistance. I hardwired the aftermarket controller correctly per the manufactures instructions. After hooking up the trailer, the brakes and turn signals on the trailer do not work only the tail and running lights work. The 12v and aftermarket TBC wires are connected at the fuse box. The trailer works with an 03 Silverado with the same aftermarket brake controller. What could be wrong?

If the turn signals and brake lights worked prior to the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885 being installed in your 2011 Chevy Silverado it would seem that based on the installation process the only logical explanation is that you may have popped some fuses or accidentally damaged both the left and right stop/turn circuits.
The more likely possibility is that you blew some fuses. GM trucks tend to blow fuse pretty easy so this makes the most sense to me.
I would start by checking the fuses and then go over the installation looking at everything that you touched basically and make sure that everything is wired up like it should.
I attached an FAQ that details the install process for you to check out also.
