How to Avoid Tire Blowouts On a Trailer
Question:
I also had a blowout on n my 205/75/14 load range D it was fully inflated from the rv dealer it was a hot day so I figured it didn’t have enough room for expansion on hot pavement so I let air out of all tires what should I do don’t want another blowout

Fred, there are a couple of things you can do to avoid frequent blowouts on your trailer, but most of the time blowouts come from an overloaded trailer/an under inflated tire. So, you're going to want to avoid loading the trailer past it's max capacity and keep the tires inflated to the max PSI indicated on the tire. Under inflated tires would cause excessive heat build up on the side wall, which would lead to a blowout.

The trailer is probably only 5200 pounds fully loaded according to the tire they are rated at 2040 and has 4 tires the load shouldn’t be a problem
