Is There A Required Valve Stem Length To Use The Counteract Filtered Tire Valve Core CA38FR
Question:
I have a question regarding the Counteract Filtered Tire Valve Core Item # CA38FR. Are you aware of any requirements for valve stem length to use this core? I have attempted to use the Counteract VCV-12 Vortex valve core but it does not work in the OEM MOPAR valve stems as they valve stems are too short. Thank you!

Hello Craig, that is a good question. I just ran this by my contact at Counteract and they were not able to give a specific minimum or maximum valve stem length in order to use the Counteract Filtered Tire Valve Core # CA38FR. They did say that this valve core is likely not going to work with the OEM MOPAR valve stems since it is designed for longer commercial truck style valve stems.
The better option will likely be the Counteract Vortex Tire Valve Core # CA26FR but depending on how long your MOPAR valve stems are, even this may be too short. If you can tell me the length of your valve stems I can tell you more accurately if these cores will work or not.

Jesse, Thank you for the info. The vortex style didn't work, couldn't put air into the tires and when I removed them, the red cap on the end broke off in one of the valve cores and I'll need to replace the sensor - can't put a valve stem core back in it. Thanks a bunch though, I appreciate your time and effort. Craig
