Recommended Bike Rack For Carrying Two 73 lb E-Bikes On The back Of A 5th Wheel
Question:
I have added a frame mounted 2 hitch to my 5th wheel trailer. I am looking for a 2 E bike trailer rack. The heaviest bike weighs 73 lbs with the battery but I could remove it for travel ping about 10 Lbs. . What do you recommend?

Hello John. For you I highly recommend the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR. This rack can hold two e-bikes weighing up to 80 lbs apiece and it is rated for use on the back of a 5th wheel. It can also accommodate larger tires - up to 5" wide. It has a built-in bike lock and hitch lock. It will also work with bikes that have step-thru frames or other alternative frame styles that you see on a lot of e-bikes.
That said, I recommend that you always remove the batteries from your e-bikes when you transport them. This is to help reduce weight and increase safety. I have linked a few of our review videos for this rack below.
