Does Progressive Dynamics 60 Amp 4000 Series Converter Replace Power Distribution Center
Question:
Is this something that can be used with a solar charger set up? I have a 1995 Fleetwood Bounder and would like to go lithium. Guessing this would replace the converter and power distribution center, wondering how the solar panels would hook in. Just hook that charge controller to the battery and this will figure the rest out? Mine doesn't have an inverter. Is this the inverter too, or do I need something different for that? Thanks,

Hey Gary; thanks for the question and you are correct the 60 amp Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel # PD4060K will replace the converter and power distribution center in your rig. As for the solar, that entirely depends on your current set up. Some solar, generally the smaller panels, just go from the panel to the controller to the battery and isn't wired to the distribution panel. Large set ups do get wired from the panel to the controller and then inverter directly to the distribution panel. If you don't currently have an inverter and are just using the # PD4060K as a replacement for your panel then you won't need to add one.
