Hey John, it is totally fine to store the NOCO GB40 # 329-GB40 in the trunk of your car. It has a safe operating temperature of -22 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit so you can store it in there during really any season. I cannot recommend operating the unit in the trunk though, due to the risk of poor ventilation, but storing the unit in the trunk is totally fine.
