Is a Brake Controller Needed to Activate Brakes in the Timbren Axle-Less System part # A35RS545E
Question:
Im building a trailer and I would like to use A35RS545E. My truck is a 2011 chevy 1500. Will the brakes work with the 7 pin connector or do I need a separate controller. Tks

To activate the trailer brakes that are included with the Timbren Axle-Less System part # A35RS545E you will need to install a brake controller on your 2011 Chevy 1500 Silverado.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup and install. I attached an install video for this controller on a similar 2011 Silverado as yours.
