Will SumoSprings Fit a 2022 Keystone Bullet 1700BH With an Offset Leaf Spring

Question:

Hi! I have a 2022 Keystone Bullet 1700BH. I was considering putting on some sumo springs. Upon looking at the setup on the RV- I noticed there is a square bar see pics added onto the bottom of the frame that the leaf springs attach to. I also noticed that the leaf springs are slightly to the side of the frame- so a mounted sumo spring won’t be 100 centered and the frame will only make contact with a portion of the sumo spring. Is this trailer ok for sumo spring installation? I obviously don’t want to spend money on a potentially incompatible trailer. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the photos, Andy!

I love the SumoSpring kits and what they have to offer, but with the way your suspension was manufactured with that offset I don't see a way for any of the leaf spring suspension enhancement options to fit properly. With that being said, we can still upgrade your equalizers to help provide better suspension performance if your 2022 Keystone Bullet 1700BH is using standard equalizers.

If you measure the horizontal bolt hole spacing (center to center) along with the height difference between the lower and upper bolt holes I can make a replacement recommendation for you like the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740.

Thanks for the reply- I was worried it may not work. However, as a single axle- I don’t believe I can upgrade to that equalizer kit.

@AndyS You are correct - my apologies! I thought I could see part of a second axle in one of your photos but for a single axle the Road Armor kit wouldn't work.
