Does 2016 Ram 2500 Short Bed Need Offset B&W Gooseneck Ball for 5th Wheel Towing

Question:

Ive got a 2016 Ram 2500 Diesel with the short bed. Im having a BandW turnover gooseball hitch installed. Im in the market for a new 5th wheel and am curious if Ill need an offset goose ball with my application? I intend to install the Reese GooseBox once Ive purchased the 5th wheel.

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1384 is a great option for your 2016 Ram 2500, and since you have the short bed on the truck I do recommend using the 4" Offset Ball # BWGNXA4085 to help promote better turning clearance while towing.

If you let me know what pin box number is on your 5th wheel trailer (like 1621 or 0719) I can let you know what replacement pin box will work for you.
