Correct Orientation of MORryde ALLTREK 4000 Shock Absorbing Equalizers
Question:
I had these equalizers installed and the springs replaced on our 2013 Redwood 36RL. After we drove away I noticed the coach had a one inch clearance between the tires on one side of the coach and a half inch clearance between the tires on the other side of the axel. Axels misaligned? The forward springs were almost touching the frame. I don’t think they were installed correctly. Can you tell Me what would cause the equalizer to lean forward when I believe it should be parallel to the ground. I’m not a mechanic but even I know there should be equal spacing between the wheels axels Thanks.

It looks like your MORryde ALLTREK 4000 Shock Absorbing Equalizers # MR89DR are longer than your previous equalizers were because your leaf springs are way too close to each other. The shackles should be creating more of a "W" shape instead of being all scrunched together like what your photos show.
I'm attaching a photo of what the system should look like when it's installed. You definitely should have the shop that did the installation for you fix what's going on. At the very least you should have been informed that a proper setup would require different parts instead of letting you drive off the lot like that.

Hey Jon, Thanks for the reply. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong part. I was replacing the Moryde 4000 suspension system, 33inch wheel tandem wheel base (SRE2-733x). They had the rubber block protruding out of the bottom and had to be replaced. I ordered the ones in the pictures I sent you and they installed them. When we went back to look at the parts we took off the coach again I found the mistake. I have heard that other people have had the rubber boot come out of the bottom of the SRE 4000 too. Have you guys been hearing this at all? Anyway, we have reordered the right parts now and will have these replaced. Thanks Randy
