How Far Does Frame Stick Out of Thule Elite Van XT 2-Bike Rack for Mercedes Sprinter
Question:
How far do frame/side rails of the Thule Elite Van XT protrude from a 2020 Sprinter 2500? I am going to also use a Yakima EXO with a top and bottom gear boxes on a swing hitch, and want to be certain the frame/side rails will have room between the gear boxes and the van. The picture is attached with the top gear box. Thanks.

Hi Ed; thanks for the question and I checked with Thule on this, and the frame of the Thule Elite Van XT 2 Bike Rack for Sprinter Rear Door # TH302043 measures 9-7/8 inches from its mounting points to the rack's frame.
