Availability of Replacement 7-Way Trailer Connector for 2002 Ford F150 FX4

Question:

saw some you tube clips and i have a 2002 f150-4x4 fx4 longbed which the fx4 mean it has the bigger engine and tow package and upgraded shocks rancho nothing big though...i had my trailer connection wich also has both 7 i think and the 4 prong connection on the sMe mounting plate..the face plate has cracked but after looking at some of your. you tube clips im about ready to upgrade...can you help?? please please ...let me know if there is an easy comnection kit i could install so that i can have the proper connection for electric breaking system for a trailer or anything else i can tow any ideas would be great.

To replace your existing 7-way/4-pole, I'd recommend the Hopkins # HM40975. You can simply unplug the wiring harness from the rear of your existing 7-way, and plug into the rear of the replacement. This connector is what Ford is using as the OEM connector on the new truck models.
