Do The Feet Of An Inno Roof Rack Have To Be Retightened Every Install On A 2022 Honda Pilot

Question:

We are looking for a rack to hold a couple of kayaks from time too time. When not going kayaking, I do not want these things on top of my car 2022 Pilot with raised rails. Watching the video - it looks like you need an allen wrench to get the tension correct for installation. Is the allen wrench required every time, or, once you have it set, can you just use the clampinch to attach or detach the rack?

Hey Christian,

Since Inno designed their roof rack system to use the fixed mounting points on your 2022 Honda Pilot's rails you would have to loosen the tension knob and retighten it every time that you wanted to remove/reinstall the crossbars. The Allen wrench is just there to help give you a bit more leverage when tightening the knob. I've listed out the components you'll need for the roof rack below:
