I Have a 34" Wide Paddleboard. Should I Use One 30" SUP Pad Or Two 20" Pads?
Question:
I have a 34” paddleboard. Will the Thule 30” L sup pad work on my wingbar or should I use 2 20” pads? Thank you

Hello KC, that is a good question. Generally, we would want the pad to be as wide, if not wider than the paddleboard itself. This way you can have a sturdy base to secure the paddleboard to. If the pad were too short, it could cause issues with instability since there would be open space underneath parts of the paddleboard. If you have room for two of the 20" SUP Pads # TH845000 that will definitely be the way to go. The picture below shows a good example of the ideal pad length in comparison to the width of the paddleboard.
