Is the Redarc 60 Amp Mini Fuse Weather Resistant

Question:

Hello, My batteries are installed on the outside of my rv under my steps. Can these fuses be used outside where they will get wet from road spray, water, etc? I would like to mount the Redarc dc-dc charger and the fuses outside where my current bird/trombetta is installed,. Thanks.

The 60-Amp MIDI Fuse Kit for Redarc In-Vehicle 40-Amp BCDC Battery Charger # 331-FK60 is not waterproof and is not meant to be installed outside in the elements.

Most of the time when you install fuses and breakers and what not you're going to want to put them in a place that is out of the elements and where they'll be protected.
