Are There Any Roof Baskets Compatible With Factory Crossbars On A 2003 Nissan Xterra

Hey Tony,

From what I can find the factory crossbars for a 2003 Nissan Xterra are 3.5" wide x 1.375" tall, making them just slightly too large to be compatible with the feet of the roof baskets that we currently offer. Because of this you would need to install crossbars like the Yakima CoreBar Crossbars # Y00421 along with the TimberLine Towers # Y33TR in order to mount a roof basket. The TimberLine towers will easily clamp the factory rails running front-to-back on your Xterra for a quick and easy installation of the crossbars.

If you want to measure your crossbars to confirm the sizing you could get lucky and have something a bit smaller that might actually work with the roof basket. Let me know what you find and I'd be happy to help.
