Recommended Air Bags for a 2007 Ford F-350 4WD Dually

Question:

Hello, Id like to purchase the airbag hardware kit for a 2007 F350 DRW and 4WD. I had a complete set on my other truck which was a Dodge, but wanted to see if I could keep my current bags and purchase the hardware kit, or if it would just be easier to buy the entire new kit. I appreciate any info you might be able to provide. -Scott

It's going to be a lot easier to just purchase a new kit for your 2007 Ford F-350 especially since it is a dually. I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2400. The Firestone kit is compatible with all 5th wheel and gooseneck hitches. It installs in predrilled holes in your truck's frame with custom fit brackets. It is also compatible with the 4WD dually models.

Please note that the preexisting hole in your F-350's frame may already be in use due an in-bed hitch but all you'd need to do is remove the bolt and install the upper bracket. You will want to reuse the bolt provided with your in-bed hitch.

I have linked an installation video below to help you get these air bags set up.

I also recommend adding the Firestone Air Command item # F2610 to your truck. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags from your phone.
