Should Kayaks or Bikes be On Center of Malone MicroSport Trailer for 2 Fat Bikes and 2 Kayaks
Question:
One other question about this trailer - in the photo you show the J racks for the kayaks on the outside - wouldnt be better to have them inside to balance weight better?

That's a really good observation Terry. I would agree that having the heavier items loaded on the center of the load bars of the Malone Trailer part # MPG461KB would be most ideal but there isn't a set requirement on this so when they loaded the trailer for taking pictures they just honestly went with what was easiest at the time. Since it's easier to lift the lighter bikes a further distance towards the center of the trailer that is what they went with.
Depending on the size of the kayaks you might need to have the kayak carriers facing the same direction so that they lean same direction to maximize bar space if you wanted them centered. On the flipside you might also consider that having the bikes centered would probably mean less road debris hitting them since they would be between your vehicle's tires.
