What Color Wires Go Where On Trailer 7 Way Harness?
Question:
I bought a 6 Ft molded trailer end cord , And the wire colors are all wrong Nothing matches up . Is this because it was made in Mexico????

I linked an faq with wiring diagrams to show the standard colors for most 7 way trailer harnesses. That said, color is not always best to go by, so you'll want to take a circuit tester # PTW2993 and test each function before wiring the harness to your trailer. Just asking Because when trying to change one at night in a dimly lite parking lot, it is really aggravating to have to Guese at what goes were . There should be a standard for the color coding
