Finding Hub/Drum To Switch M116A3 Trailer To 6 on 5-1/2" Bolt Pattern
Question:
Hello, I have an M116A3 Trailer. I would like to swap the hubs to the 6x5.5 wheel pattern. Can you confirm is this is the size I need? I have the 37in Humvee tires and the bent high clearance axle. My total weight will be below 3500lb. Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb and 6,000-lb Axles - 6 on 5-1/2 - Pre Greased Item # 8-201-9UC3-EZ

I was unable to find exactly what size spindle comes on your M116A3 trailer so you are going to need to remove one of your hubs to measure the spindle and determine if the Hub/Drum # 8-201-9UC3-EZ will fit your trailer. I have included an image showing the measurement points for the spindle and you will need to ensure your landing for the grease seal is 2.215" in diameter. The space for the inner bearing should be 1.75" and the outer bearing should be 1.25" in diameter. If you come up with any different measurements please let me know and I will help you find the correct hub to get the 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern.
