Hole Size and Positioning to Install the B&W Turnoverball In a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Question:

Hello I recently purchased a factory gm puck system from a 2016 2500 HD and I am going to install it in my short bed 2015 2500 HD I have a few questions and any help would be appreciated. 1. What size hole should I drill in the bed so I can purchase the factory puck system covers? 2. Is the center hole at 44 3/4inch from the end of the bed? 3. It looks like I need to remove the bed to install this hitch because it doesnt come apart, is this true? Thanks Jason.

Jason, to install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1012 in your 2015 Chevy 2500 you're going to need to drill out a 4" hole 44 3/4" from the edge of the bed. You don't have to take the bed off for install, but if you can remove it and would rather do it that way, you're more than welcome.

Bryce thanks for the info, since I am going to install a factory GM puck system does anything change dimensionally? does Etrailer stock the bed puck covers and the gooseneck ball and safety chain hooks? and would you have info on the dimensions for the other 4 holes?

@Jason Ok Jason, I think there might've been a miscommunication. The B&W Turnoverball is meant to replace the OEM puck system so you'd need to pick one or the other.

@Jason Honestly, that would be something that'd be easier to take to a shop and have them give you a hand.
