Troubleshooting Furrion Fireplace With 88 Error Code
Question:
We have a 40inch Furrion fireplace in our 2020 Tiffin34PA. It is flashing 88. I may have gotten too close to it while it was in operation. I dont know how to get to the cord to unplug it in order to reset it. Please help. Thank you. P.S. I do not have any printed info. or model #.

For a Furrion Fireplace like the # FF30SC15ABL the 88 error code is caused by inadequate airflow or overheating. Check the inlets and outlets of the fireplace to make sure they are clean and nothing is blocking them. Removing the cover and then the mounting screws will allow you to pull the unit out and access the power cord. Once you unplug it let it sit for 15-20 minutes to reset. If you're using this in temperatures below 40 it will also cause it to overheat since it will run continuously.
