Is It Legal to Tow a Trailer That Weighs Over 17,000 lbs
Question:
HI..i am thinking of getting a torklift magnum hitch for my 99 f350 dually. My question is if i am towing lets say 17000 pounds would i get ticketed by dept of transportation or does the magnum hitch make it legal to actually tow this much?

Hey Chris, as long as you're registered to tow that amount of weight you'll be fine. If you're unsure, it's always a good idea to check your local laws to make sure you're in compliance.
