Can 2" Adapter Be Used on a Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack with a 1-1/4" Stinger
Question:
I have this rack: TH23JV I have a 2” hitch Do you sell an adapter that I can use? My friend lent me one but the safety on the rack did not have a hole to go into … just the pin to lock the rack to the hitch. I would prefer that the safety also be activated. Thanks!

The SnugTite hitch pin on the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack # TH23JV is a nice feature but it can be frustrating if you want to try to use an adapter - like what you've found.
The only way to adapt your bike rack to a 2" hitch receiver is by replacing the entire lower assembly and stinger with the part # TH37MY.
I'm not sure why Thule created this rack without the ability to use it in either hitch receiver size so if you'd rather get a different rack that fits with both receivers then I recommend checking out the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY74FR which matches all of the specs from the T2 Pro XTR, but it is a frame mount rack as opposed to a wheel mount rack.
Attached is a review video of the Sport Rider for you to check out!
