Trouble Installing Trailer Ramp Door Spring
Question:
Hi, i installed the double spring 160 to a 94inch w x 84inch H ramp door. The cable brackets are mounted 10inch from the top. The ramp lifts good to about 2/3 of the way and then has to be pushed in and then the cable is too loose. If i turn the springs a half turn more the ramp lifts off the ground by itself. What am i doing wrong?

Installations for the Conventional Ramp Door Springs like part # ERS120D81 aren't things that we are really able to advise on since these need to be installed by someone who has previous experience or by a garage door company. You might try less than half a turn adjustment if that's possible but aside from that you'll need to have a professional help you out with this installation.
