Lithium Compatible Charger For A Lance 1030 Truck Camper
Question:
Greetings, I have a Lance 1030 truckcamper with 2 batteries. When the time comes to replace them I want to use 12V LiFe PO4 lithium batteries. Ive read Ill need to replace the DC to DC charger in the truckcamper. What do I need and install directions? Thank you, your help is appreciated. Ron

Hey Ron. You will need to replace the charger in your Lance camper if the current charger is not lithium compatible. The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1240D is what I recommend since it will work with virtually any battery type, including the 12V LiFe PO4 lithium batteries.
Below you will find a wiring diagram for a typical Lithium battery setup. I have also linked the manufacturer install instructions below.
