Will K-Source Tow Mirrors KS69NQ Scratch Mirror Housing

Will these mirrors scratch the chrome domes on my side view mirrors?

The K-Source tow mirrors part # KS69NQ have pads where they contact the mirror housing so the chrome would not get scratched. Also if you keep the mirror housing and pads as clean as possible it would basically be impossible for any scratches to appear.
