How to Find Cold Side of the Brake Switch To Install the Roadmaster EvenBrake
Question:
I am installing a roadmaster 9400 even break system on a 2018 GMC Acadia my question is wiring it to the brake light. What color is the wire and do you have a diagram?

There is not a color wire that you'd need to look out for since it could change from vehicle to vehicle, but you're going to need to look for the wire that shows power ONLY when the brake pedal is pressed - you'll need a circuit tester # PTW2993 to find this wire.
This is the cold side of the switch which will need to be connected to the #1 terminal on the ICX transmitter of the Roadmaster Even Brake # RM-9400.
