Tire Chain Recommendation for 225/60R18 Tires on a 2016 Honda CR-V
Question:
Hi etrailer! What chains would you recommend for a 2016 Honda CRV touring with 225 60 18 tires? I bough Pewag servos for my van and a friend would like something similar. Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out, Jared!
I recommend using the Konig Tire Chains # TH01594245 for the 225/60R18 tires on your 2016 Honda CR-V Touring as they use the standard wrap-around chain style, but they also have an upgraded self-tensioning system that also have built-in protection for the wheels on their vehicle.
I've actually shot an installation video of these same chains on a 2019 RAV4 that I'm linking so you can get an idea of how these install and operate.
Please be sure to check your owner's manual for any specific instructions when it comes to tire chain usage!

Thanks, Jon. Is there anything that’s closer in price to the Pewag chains (roughly $200) that you’d recommend? That price was part of what got his attention.
