I am wondering if these gen y fifth wheel pin boxes will work as a replacement for the morride fifth wheel pin boxes that are on Jayco north point fifth wheels from the factory

Hey Tom, from previous customers with your trailer we have determined that your North Point has a 1621 model MORryde pin box so for a Gen-Y pin box you would want the part # 325-GH-8040 that you referenced.

Thanks for the info. The North Point model I am looking at is the 2024 390CKDS the unloaded weight is 15,835 pounds and a GVWR of 18,350 pounds. I have always heard people that you should have about 20 to 25% pin weight. So I am just curious if you think a hitch with 3.5K is enough or should I go with a heavier weight Gen y kingpin hitch.
