What Circuits Should 3rd Brake Light Module PP20-702 Wire To

Question:

I recently purchased the Pacer Performance 3rd Brake Light Logic Module Stock # 20-702 from etrailer. Part was purchased to enable 3rd brake light installation on topper on 2019 Nissan Frontier with tow package. Wanted to activate the light through the trailer lights hook up. Used a 7way to 4 way adapter first then wired the left turn/stop and right turn/stop to yellow wires from module. Wired geen module wire to red brake light wire and wired black light wire to pigtail white ground wire. Brake works fine but light still blinks with right and left turn signal. Checked all connections. Module didnt appear to filter the blinkers. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you- Sue

Hey Sue, so the wiring colors you mentioned don't match what the part # PP20-702 have so I am not sure what's going on. This is supposed to have two yellow wires that you run to both stop turn circuits and then the green runs to the isolated brake light circuit.

I would also check to make sure the wire colors you ran to on the trailer wiring are the correct stop/turn circuits as well.

Sorry I didn't explain well - It is wired Just as you described. I said "wired the left turn/stop and right turn/stop to yellow wires from module and Wired geen module wire to red brake light wire". Brake light stop light works but light is also blinking when turn signals are activated.

@Sue I see what you mean now, if it's wired up properly and not functioning properly then it would need to be returned as it's defective.
