Solution for Older Reese Weight Distribution System with Lost Spring Bar for 6k Trailer
Question:
I have a old school Reese load leveling hitch that was just used for a couple seasons on a race car and camper trailers. Are the trailer frame brackets and different weight bars still available I am missing one of the bars and both frame brackets with their little bent wire clips to keep the chain brackets secured in the up position Do you need more info from the bar decals or hitch We may pick up a 6-7,000 lb camper next year and want to use this

Reese got rid of a lot of the older weight distribution replacement parts a few years back when they went and updated most of the lines that they offered so there isn't going to be the replacement parts you are looking for. So it would be best to replace the entire system Bob.
A system like the Reese part # RP66542 would work great as it has a tongue weight range of 600-1,200 lbs which should match what your camper has well.
