Will The DC Distribution Panel On A PD4045KA Still Work With The Converter Off
Question:
I just want to verify that if the breaker to the converter is off that the Dc side will still work using the battery. I would be doing this when using my inverter so that a loop is not created. My old camper had a separate converter from the panel.

Hi Kristie,
The converter built into the Progressive Dynamics # PD4045KA is just there to charge the battery. The DC distribution panel has power without the converter being used either from the battery or from shore power when connected.
