Adapter Needed To Connect Voyager Side Marker Cameras To A System With RCA Ports

Question:

I have 2008 country coach and looking to just replace the cameras on right and left side of coach. Looking to use the 31300006 adaptor on the new cameras with four pin connector vcms12lgpr. My assumption is the white on the adaptor cable is for audio and the yellow is for video? I only have the yellow right now so my next assumption is the white on the adaptor will just not be used in my situation. If you could confirm my assumptions or direct what i can do looking to not replace the whole system if possible.

Hi Pete,

The Voyager Camera Adaptor # 31300006 would allow you to connect a Voyager RV Side Camera # VCMS12LGPR to a system with RCA ports. The yellow connector is for composite video and the white is for audio. Since you don't currently have audio you can just leave the white connector unplugged. The two power wires can be spliced into a nearby 12v power source and the 4-pin connector would connect to the camera. We offer the passenger side camera with a white cover with part # VCMS50RWT. If you want a matching driver's side then you'll want part # VCMS50LWT.
