Will The Rest Of A Carrier Air AC System Still Work When Replacing The Rooftop Unit

Mike will the remote still work for the furnace, or thermostat needs to be installed?

Hi Michel,
The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup # ACCAR150 is only replacing the rooftop unit and wouldn't be replacing the controller so all of the other components for the old system would still be functional. If your unit had a heat pump then you would be losing this function because the heat pumps are built into the rooftop units and this Advent Air unit does not have one.
